QlikView Specialist

Role Summary/Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a support background with a more recent experience of Business Intelligence which is a must for this role. Experience of being part of an active  IT team is desirable. The candidate will be working with peers in different countries for the technologies they provide support for within the business. 

Key Responsibilities

  •   Act as the subject matter expert for QlikView within the group.
  •   Receive stakeholder requirements, able to question requirements, utility and business value.
  •    To work cross functionally with colleagues and suppliers to inform and develop the Worldwide IT roadmap.

Key Experiences

  •   University degree or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT department.
  •   Comfortable as a subject matter expert for key technical areas for the business (including QlikView and QlikSense).
  •   Customer focused, articulate and methodical with experience of working in a busy support department.
  •   Good understanding of application integration and delivery challenges. Must be flexible and adaptable to business demands and needs.
  •   Proven experience with QlikView.
  •    Experience with QlikSense will be an advantage.
  •   Comfortable writing SQL queries and procedures.
  •   Experience in building and testing QlikView dashboard functionality and administration.
  •   A clear understanding of QlikView architecture and building QVDs and QVWs.
  •   Extract, transform and load multiple data sources (e.g. flat files, SQL databases, etc.) into QlikView.

Scrum Master with SalesForce

Role Summary/Job Description

  •   Manages team velocity understands how to remove uncertainty and can remove blockers effectively whilst maintaining team equilibrium and respect.
  •    Can manage and coordinate Sprint planning.
  •   Ensures quality and effectively manages technical debt.
  •   Strongly serving the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers.
  •   Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
  •   Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization.
  •   Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  •   Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  •   Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  •   Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
  •   Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
  •    Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  •   Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
  •   Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  •   Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  •   First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I).
  •   Knowledge of SalasForce software.
  •   Experience playing the Scrum Master role for the number of years for software development teams that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
  •   Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  •   Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
  •   Experience of working on large programmes having the number of cross-functional teams.
  •   Ability to articulate clearly technical challenges and dependencies to the management team.
  •    Good understanding of SAFE principles and techniques.
  •   Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD.
  •   Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.
  •   Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team.
  •    Experience applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc).
  •   Previous experience as a team lead.
  •   Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Role Summary/Job Responsibilities

  •   ITSM Transformation to drive simplification.
  •    Improved alignment and integration of DB’s core.
  •    ITSM processes using industry standard practices and a state of the art platform.
  •   Must show evidence of previous business / process analysis experience.
  •    Knows how Service Request Mngt works and how this process interacts with Change Management and Config Mngt.
  •   Able to work independently without significant supervision.
  •   Self-starter who is not afraid to work under challenging timelines.
  •   Has a can do attitude to requirements gathering, documentation and refinement.
  •   Ability to collaborate globally and work with staff from different cultural backgrounds.
  •    Excellent communication and documentation skills.
